Merapi volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in Indonesia. There are 120 active volcanoes and dormant in Indonesia. Merapi volcano the last eruption was in 2010 forced thousands of people evacuated from their villages. Yogyakarta city was not effected seriously, only ashes and flights could not do the activities for 2 weeks.
